Not all canvas prints are created equally…. Just as with purchasing anything else, there are differences in price – and differences in quality.

As far as I am aware, there are no other canvas prints / personalised gift suppliers within the UK which provide the same high quality products that we supply, for the same low prices we offer. I cannot of course say whether or not cheaper suppliers are providing lesser quality products, but I do know that we could not possibly provide the high quality products we provide, and the high level of service we provide for any less.

We could make cheaper canvases, by buying in ready made frames from China, cheaper fabric & cheaper non-Epson ink, but we have a belief that we should only create prints of a quality that we are happy to have hanging on our own walls, and the prints that we produce are the exact same quality prints that we all have in our own homes, and we would not be happy to produce anything lesser quality, even though it might mean increasing sales.

In terms of colour fastness, we use Epson inks, which have a light fastness of 75 years plus when printed on the high quality giclee canvas fabric which we use for all the prints we produce.

The frames on which we stretch the printed canvas, are very high quality hand made frames, which we custom make for each customer & are made to last – they are not mass produced canvas frames, which can be lesser quality & which can become mis-shaped over time.

There’s not a great deal you need to do to prolong the life of the high quality canvases we produce – of course, placing them in a spot which doesn’t get a lot of direct sunlight will mean the colours remain vivid even longer, and of course it is better to keep your canvas wall art in rooms which are not damp, or on walls which suffer from damp.
